Our History

Modeled after the National Student Leadership Forum in Washington D.C., the National Student Forum was established in 2006. The Forum is being hosted in collaboration with the National Prayer Breakfast. This Breakfast has been bringing together civic and community leaders of all faiths in unity and prayer over the last 44 years on Parliament Hill._

Our Guiding Principles

1. To affirm and strengthen young men and women in University and College life in the nation who follow Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind and strength in all that they do. To grow the bonds of support, love and fellowship among a diverse cross-section of students throughout the nation of Canada.

2. To instill a vision of leadership centered on Jesus Christ which has a deep commitment to our families, our friends, fellow students and extends throughout our academic communities, out into the greater community, for a just province, nation and world.

Our Vision

It is our belief that it is possible for students to benefit greatly from the opportunity to converse openly with Christian leaders who are experienced in their fields of occupation. Through the National Student Forum Christian leaders are given the rare opportunity to speak directly into the lives of students by sharing from their perspectives on what it means and takes to be a Christian in today's work world. The student forum creates opportunities for students to ask meaningful questions of professionals in their fields concerning a multitude of issues surrounding faith and work.
