On March 27, 2010, Global Agents for Change will recognize 8 young BC social entrepreneurs (ages 12-20) at our annual Spring Gala. Identified for their commitment to their local and global communities, these young leaders will receive financial and mentorship support for their projects capable of meaningful impact. The deadline to nominate a young person is February 28th, 2010.
Wesley Lowe is a filmmaker whose documentary and dramatic projects are seen around the world. He specializes in incorporating Chinese elements into the Western mainstream. Wes is Chaplain for Chinese Canadian WWII Veterans, member of the Chinese Canadian Military Museum, on the board of B.C. Christian News, a member of the American Federation of Musicians and the Writers Guild of Canada. He was appointed by Cabinet Minister Jason Kenney to be Chair, Chinese Canadian Advisory Committee to the CHRP.
